Test rides at AZ @ Paya Lebar, near MacPherson MRT (Exit A).

Book on WhatsApp

Nobody rides home alone.

We head out for easy group rides whenever the crew is free, and everyone's welcome. Ride dates are shared in our WhatsApp chat, so say hi and we'll add you.

  1. Say hi on WhatsApp

We'll add you to the ride chat, where upcoming rides are posted.

  2. Pick a ride that suits you

Each ride post shares the pace, distance and meeting point. Fold, hop on the MRT and meet us at the start.

  3. Ride together

A leader sets the pace up front, a sweep rides at the back, and the group waits at every junction.

  4. Kopi after

Rides end at a hawker centre or café. That's where the "buddy" part really happens.

  • A chatty pace, and nobody gets dropped
  • Regroups at every junction

Ride kind, ride together.

Six things every Bike Buddy rider signs up to. They keep rides friendly for us and for everyone else on the path.

Two riders taking a break on a park bench at Bedok Reservoir Park, their bicycles parked on either side
  • Say hi to someone new. Every ride, at least one new name.
  • Nobody gets dropped. Leaders wait at every junction and a sweep rides at the back.
  • Keep left, pass right. Ring your bell before you pass, and give walkers plenty of room.
  • Mind the speed limit. 10 km/h on footpaths, 25 km/h on cycling paths and park connectors.
  • Lights on after dark. White in front, red at the back. It's the law, and it's how we find each other.
  • Helmet on the road. It's required on roads, and we wear one on every ride.

Questions we get a lot

How do I find out when rides are on?

Ride dates are shared in our WhatsApp chat. Message us on +65 8171 9520 and we'll add you, then join whichever rides suit you.

Do I need to be fit to join a ride?

Not at all. Most rides go at a chatty 15–18 km/h on flat paths with regular stops, and every ride is no-drop: a sweep rider stays at the back so nobody rides alone.

I don't have a folding bike yet. Can I still come?

Yes. Book a test ride at the shop first, and ask us about joining a ride on a test bike.

What should I bring on a ride?

Water, a helmet, lights for night rides, your phone with the ride chat, and a little cash or a card for kopi after.

What if it rains?

If there's lightning or heavy rain at the start time, we postpone and post an update in the ride chat, so check it before you leave home.

Is my bike welcome if I didn't buy it from you?

Of course. Every folding bike, any brand, is welcome on our rides.

Say hi. We'll save you a spot.

Tell us how you ride. We'll add you to the ride chat, suggest a good first ride and, if you'd like one, pair you with a buddy.
